Sadly, Frank died on July 21, 2026. Loved by so many people, the photo above shows Frank as he so often was – gregarious, funny, self-deprecating – as well as being highly intelligent. Missed by so many.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER, FRANK EDWARDS

“Initially I just wanted a single search point for cue sport competitions in New Zealand.

I decided on a web site several years ago, and expected that I would create it as soon as I retired. Well, I retired four years ago and it took a period of inactivity due to a back op to motivate me into actually doing something. 

 
The plan was to have organisers add their own comps (or me to import them), then list competitions selectable by a few filters (date range, name, venue, discipline, location/area). 🤔
 
I believe that we have all of the filters sorted out. If anyone needs another filter, flick me an email and I’ll look at it

my sister Jean, who fortunately is a web designer – so by various clever and cunning means I was able to persuade her to design and flesh out this website. Together we’ve had many late-night coding sessions – often complex but along with much laughter. 🤭
 
We’re excited to share it with the world. As we launch, I feel proud of our achievements and the collaborative spirit that made it all possible. Here’s to new beginnings and adventures ahead!”
